Competition Terms and Conditions
This competition runs from 3rd June 2022 and closes at midday on 26th August 2022. Entries received after this time are automatically disqualified. The winner must reside in the UK and be over 18 years of age at date of entry. The winner must consent to present proof of age on being informed of their win. Only one entry per person.
The winner will be chosen at random by Seasalt Cornwall and will be contacted as soon as is practical after the closing date, via the email address they have provided. The winner must confirm acceptance within 7 days of the date and time of the email informing them of their win. Should they not accept in time their claim will become invalid, and a new winner will be selected at random.
The prizes are as stated on the competition webpage and are subject to availability.
Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable. No cash or credit alternatives are available. If, due to circumstances beyond their control, Seasalt Cornwall, St Michaels Resort or Laithwaites are unable to provide the stated prize(s), they reserve the right to award a substitute prize of equal or greater value. Seasalt Cornwall’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
Seasalt Cornwall reserves the right to cancel or suspend the competition where necessary. Seasalt Cornwall reserves the right to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the competition. Insofar as it is permitted by law, Seasalt will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate you or accept any liability for loss, damage, personal injury, or death arising from your taking up the prize, except where it is caused by the negligence of Seasalt Cornwall or its employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
By entering the competition, you confirm you have the legal capacity to do so and agree to these terms and conditions. There is no entry fee and no purchase required. The competition is open to people aged 18 or over, except employees of Seasalt Cornwall, St Michaels Resort, Laithwaites, or anyone professionally associated with this promotion, or their immediate family members.
Winners agree to the use of their name for promotional purposes. Seasalt Cornwall must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, Seasalt Cornwall will disclose the surname and county of major prize winners to anyone who emails contactus@seasaltcornwall.co.uk within one month after the closing date of the competition. If you object to the sharing of any or all of your surname and county, please contact Seasalt Cornwall. In such circumstances, Seasalt Cornwall must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
Seasalt Cornwall will only process your personal information given on entry to this competition as set out in our Privacy Policy unless you also sign up to receive more information and material from Seasalt Cornwall, St Michaels Resort or Laithwaites. In which case, your given personal information will be securely shared with St Michaels Resort and Laithwaites.
This competition is governed by English law and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
The prize includes:
A 3-night stay in a Luxury King Room for two people at St Michaels Resort in Falmouth, including:
• A Hydrothermal Spa Experience for two
• 3-course dinner for two in the Brasserie on the Bay
• Full Cornish breakfast each morning
• Complimentary swim and gym use at St Michaels Health Club during your stay
This prize is valid for 12 months until 26 August 2023 and excludes stays over July, August, school holidays, bank holidays, and the Christmas period between 23 December through to 2 January. The prize does not cover extra food, drink or activities that are not included in the stated prize. Accommodation reservation should be booked in advance and is subject to availability – no cash alternatives are available. Travel insurance is not included within the prize. In the event of the winner being prevented from travelling due to a government COVID-19 travel ban or local restrictions, the winner can choose alternative dates.
A year’s worth of wine from Laithwaites:
This prize consists of the winner receiving a case of 12 bottles of Laithwaites wine delivered to their door every three months for a year. Laithwaites will use the personal data of the winner provided by Seasalt Cornwall to despatch the wine. Laithwaites may process the winner’s details to verify their age to ensure that they only give products containing alcohol to those aged 18 or over. The prize will be sent out via courier, Laithwaites cannot be held responsible for any prize not received by the winner. Wines may contain sulphites.
A £250 gift card for Seasalt Cornwall:
The Seasalt Cornwall gift card will be posted to the address provided by the winner and will be valid for two years from the date of issue. Gift cards can be spent online or in any of our shops (excluding shops in the Republic of Ireland).
