Just use the box below to tell Heart Radio in 300 characters or less what you are willing to do to win a Jet2holiday and why this would be a challenge for you.

You could hold a creepy-crawly for a minute, conquer a fear or ruin your partner’s favourite holiday outfit.

We’re looking for how imaginative the challenge is and how entertaining the story behind it is.

Entries must be able to be realistically performed in the Heart Studio within a 5-minute duration.

Competition Terms and Conditions

1. The ‘Big Summer Getaway’ promotion (‘Promotion’) is organised by Global (as defined in the General Terms and Conditions). The Promotion will run from Monday 16th August to Friday 27th August 2021 on Heart Network. Global is the Promoter. The ‘Promotion Partners’ mentioned in these Specific Rules are Jet2holidays.
2. IMPORTANT: The Promotion is subject to these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions which are available here. Entry into the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions.

Details of the Promotion:
3. To enter the Promotion, you must:
a. (i) go online to the Promotion entry page at https://www.heart.co.uk and register your details;
b. (ii) explain in 300 characters or less what you would do for your chance to win a holiday (it could be holding a creepy crawly for a minute, ruin a partner’s favourite holiday item or conquer a fear) and tell us why this would be a challenge for you.
4. Entries will be judged by a panel of judges including one independent judge on the following criteria: a) how entertaining the story behind the challenge is; b) how imaginative the challenge is; and c) how convinced the judges are by the reason to choose an entrant over others.
5. Entries must be able to be realistically performed in the Heart Studio within a 5-minute duration, for example it could be holding a spider for a minute or shredding a partner’s shirt.
6. Entrants must be available between 10am-11am weekdays between Friday 20th August 2021 and Thursday 26th August 2021, they may be required to travel to the Heart studios in Leicester Square, London, or partake in a video call for these times. Travel expenses will be allocated.
7. Entries deemed by us to be rude, offensive, defamatory, illegal or condoning dangerous behaviour will be removed from the Promotion.
8. Online entry will open at 00:01 on Monday 16th August 2021 and close at 08:30 on Wednesday 25th August 2021. Entries received before or after this time will not be included in the Promotion.
9. On the date and time listed below, all eligible entries will be entered into a draw. 100 entries will be selected at random and will be reviewed by the judges against the criteria outlined above.
10. At 9am on Wednesday 18th August 2021, we will choose 100 entries at random from all entries received at that point, these selected entries will be reviewed by the judges against the criteria described above, and 2 entrants will be selected to go to the next stage.
11. At 9am on Friday 20th August 2021, we will choose 100 entries at random from all entries received at that point, these selected entries will be reviewed by the judges against the criteria described above, and 2 entrants will be selected to go to the next stage.
12. At 8:30am on Wednesday 25th August 2021, we will choose 100 entries at random from all entries received at that point, these selected entries will be reviewed by the judges against the criteria described above, and 1 entrants will be selected to go to the next stage.
13. Selected entrants will be contacted by one of our representatives via the telephone number provided in their entry. If the entrant cannot be contacted within 2 hours from first being contacted, they will forfeit their right to the prize and we shall be entitled to select another winner from the original list of entries.
14. Successfully contacted entrants will be given a date and time at which they will need to complete the challenge as described in their entry. This will be recorded for broadcast on the breakfast show. When the Heart Breakfast producer(s) and presenter(s) agree that the entrant has validated their entry by completing the challenge correctly they will become a winner.
15. If the contacted entrant decides not to complete their entry to the competition by not taking part in the challenge as described in their entry, they will forfeit their right to the prize and we shall be entitled to select another winner from the original list of entries.
16. By submitting your entry to this Promotion, you confirm that you have obtained the consent of all individuals, and their property, that feature in your submission (in the case of children under the age of 18, you have obtained the consent of the child’s parent/guardian) and agree to notify us immediately if their consent is withdrawn at any time.
17. We and the Promotion Partner may publish and publicise your submission, name, image, social media handle and/or profile picture, your nearest geographical location (for example, your nearest city, town or county) and your entry, and we may refer to your and any applicable third party’s (for example any one included in the submission/a guest/a travel companion) association with the Promotion and/or the prize, in any and all media, worldwide, in perpetuity, for publicity and PR purposes solely in connection with the Promotion.
18. In relation to winners (and runners up if applicable), you understand that we and our Promotion Partners may: (i) interview you and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) which we may film, photograph and/or record and; (ii) film, photograph and/or record, you and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) in connection with the Promotion, either by telephone or in person, and we may use such films, recordings and/or photographs for publicity and PR purposes in any and all media, worldwide, as often and for as long as we consider appropriate or desirable, in connection with the Promotion. We may also publish your and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) name, image, social media handle and/or profile picture.

Eligibility:
19. The Promotion is only open to residents of the UK aged 18 and over, and who are based in the UK at the time of entry.
20. Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Promotion.
21. An entrant can only be selected to go to the final stage of the challenge once during the competition

29. If your challenge is played on the breakfast show on Tuesday 24th August 2021 you will win:
There will be one winner who will win a 7 night holiday on an All Inclusive basis in a Family Open Plan S20 Room at the 4+ star Creta Maris Beach Resort in Crete, Greece for 2 adults and 2 children under the age of 16.

52. This prize is subject to the Jet2holidays Prize-Specific Terms.

53. It is the responsibility of the winner and their guests to ensure that they are legally able to travel to the destination and have any necessary passports, visas, or any other documentation.

54. It is the responsibility of the winner to comply with any Covid-19 checks and tests for entering their travel destination and upon returning to the UK. Global will not cover the cost of any Covid testing and it is the complete responsibility of the winner and their travel companions to buy, organise and arrange these tests. Global will not be held responsible if the winner or their guests do not have the correct travel documentation, test results or if they breach any COVID-19 regulations.

55. Any other costs and expenses which are not specifically included in the prize description are excluded and will be the sole responsibility of the winner. By way of example, without limitation, spending money, food, visas, Covid or vaccination tests are not included within the prize.
56. In addition to the provisions set out at clause 12.1 in the General Competition Terms & Conditions relating to fulfilment of prizes, our ability to fulfil a prize, or perform any of our obligations under the General Competition Terms and Conditions or these Specific Rules (together, the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) could be affected by an actual or threatened epidemic, pandemic, disease or quarantine and/or any corresponding governmental action, guidance and/or ruling (including but not limited to any Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office guidance) (“Covid Measures”). If, due to Covid Measures, we are unable to fulfil a prize or perform any of our other obligations under the Competition Terms and Conditions, (for example, if the prize is a Holiday Prize to a destination where UK travellers are unable to travel to or advised against travelling to as a result of the Covid Measures), then we shall not be in breach of the Competition Terms and Conditions. In these circumstances, we will try and mitigate the effects of the Covid Measures, for example, by varying or swapping the prize in accordance with the provisions at clause 21. A Holiday Prize may need to be swapped for a cash prize, which will be decided by us in our sole discretion.
57. The prize is non-transferable, and non-refundable.
58. Global reserve the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value at our absolute discretion.

Jet2holidays Prize Specific Terms:

60. Jet2holidays are the prize providers for this promotion and are responsible for all elements of the prize fulfilment apart from the travel insurance which is provided by Global.
61. If, due to Covid Measures, we are unable to fulfil a prize or perform any of our other obligations under the Competition Terms and Conditions, (for example, if the prize is a Holiday Prize to a destination where UK travellers are unable to travel to or advised against travelling to as a result of the Covid Measures), then we shall not be in breach of the Competition Terms and Conditions. In these circumstances, we will try and mitigate the effects of the Covid Measures, for example, by varying or swapping the prize. A Holiday Prize may need to be swapped for a cash prize, which will be decided by Global in our sole discretion.
62. Jet2holidays reserves the right (but shall be under no obligation) substitute any prize with alternative dates/property or destinations of equal or greater value at any time.
63. The prize is non-transferable. The prize must be taken by the prize winner (who must be over the age of 18) along with their selected travel companions notified to Jet2holidays in the relevant booking, subject to the maximum number of passengers specified within the prize details. Flights must be taken at the same time from the same airport.
64. The Prize Winner will be contacted by Global within 14 days of winning the competition, with instructions on how to book their travel directly with Jet2holidays.
65. Any optional purchases or supplements are extra and are subject to the standard Jet2holidays or Jet2.com terms and conditions and any applicable charges must be paid for by the winner at the time of booking for all the travelling party.
66. The prize duration cannot be extended, and the hotel and/or room type may not be changed by the winner. Please note, once you have made a booking you cannot amend the travel dates or make any other amendments to your holiday. Additional passengers may not be added to your prize holiday and will need to book separate travel and accommodation.
67. The prize is subject to Jet2holidays’ and Jet2.com’s terms and conditions (together the “Terms and Conditions”) which can be found at http://www.jet2holidays.com/terms-and-conditions and http://www.jet2.com/terms respectively. The holiday shall not constitute a ‘package’ under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 (the “Regulations”) and the Regulations shall not apply, nor shall the applicable provisions of the Terms and Conditions which relate to the Regulations. In the event of any discrepancies between these prize draw terms and conditions and the Terms and Conditions, these prize draw terms and conditions shall take precedence
68. The prize is subject to availability. Please note, prize flights are limited on the flights operated by Jet2.com and may be unavailable even if there is general availability on a particular flight.
69. Jet2holidays reserves the right to amend or cancel the flights or holiday without prior notice (which may include changes to the dates, hotel or destination). Please note that the Jet2.com flight schedules are not guaranteed. Flights to certain destinations are only available on certain days.
70. This prize includes 1 free item of checked baggage per person up to 22kg and airport transfers to and from the hotel.
71. Travel insurance is provided by Global.
72. If a winner doesn’t live within a reasonable radius to the airport (90 miles) then Global will work with Jet2holidays to facilitate the winners travel, and the associated cost of travel will be shared between Global and Jet2holidays.
73. All passengers must have a valid passport to travel and must meet all relevant visa and/or other entry requirements including any medical/health screening requirements or similar.
74. Where Jet2holidays makes any changes to the holiday or dates of travel, no compensation or cash equivalent will be available. Jet2holidays will not be liable for any cancellations or changes to the prize draw or the prizes, or for any loss or damage. Nothing in these terms shall exclude or limit the liability of Jet2holidays in relation to personal injury or death caused by Jet2holidays negligence or for fraud.
75. These terms are subject to English Law and by submitting an entry, Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
76. Global reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value at its absolute discretion.
77. Entrants’ details will be used to administer the Competition. When entering the Competition Entrants will be invited to opt in to receiving marketing from Jet2holidays. If Entrants choose to opt in, their details will be retained by Jet2holidays for the purposes of marketing (which may include activities such as passing on information about deals, offers and promotion codes from Jet2holidays). Details will be used in accordance with the Jet2holidays privacy policy (see https://www.jet2holidays.com/privacy-policy).
78. Global is the promoter of this Competition.

Data Protection:
79. Your personal data, and the personal data of any guest(s)/travel companion(s) that you or they provide to us], will be collected and processed by us, our licensees (including Communicorp UK Limited and Quidem Limited), the Promotion Partner, as well as the prize providers, and if applicable, our service providers, network operators and suppliers in order to administer and fulfil the Promotion. Your personal data may also be disclosed to the Phone-paid Services Authority, Ofcom and/or the Advertising Standards Authority at their reasonable request for regulatory purposes, for example, in order to prevent, investigate and detect crime, fraud or anti-social behaviour and comply with law enforcement agencies and applicable advertising codes.
80. We may hold your personal data for a period of 2 years in order to comply with our regulatory obligations.
81. You may be asked if you want to opt-in to marketing from us or our Promotional Partners when you enter a Promotion. If you choose to opt-in, we and/or our Promotional Partners (as applicable) will use your personal data for marketing purposes (see our Privacy Policy for more details). You can opt out at any time.
82. We, the Promotion Partners and the prize providers may transfer and process personal data outside of the EEA and UK for the purposes of administering the Promotion.
83. By entering a Promotion, you acknowledge that any personal data provided by you in connection with the Promotion will be processed as set out above and in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which sets out full details of how we process personal data and how you can exercise your rights as a data subject. Please ensure you have read and understood our Privacy Policy before entering any Promotion.
84. You may request the removal of your personal details from our database by contacting privacy@global.com. If you request that your personal details be removed prior to the conclusion of a Promotion, you will forfeit your right to enter the Promotion and/or claim any prize and we reserve the right to select another entrant to participate in the Promotion or withdraw the prize and select another winner, as applicable.
85. If you are required to submit a guest(s)/travel companion(s) personal data to enter a Promotion, you must ensure that your guest(s)/travel companion(s) have given you consent to provide us with their personal data.
