Competition Terms and Conditions

TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “Family Annual passes – Yorkshire Wildlife Park competition” (the “Competition”).
These terms should be read with our general competition terms at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radiocompetition-terms.html which also apply to this Competition.
1.COMPETITION MECHANIC
AND HOW TO WIN
This competition is running on Hallam FM. There will be 3 overall winners.
3 winner(s) will be selected from those who successfully answered the question correctly and
entered their correct details online. The winning person(s) information should match to the
information entered when they are contacted. If the details do not match, a new winner will
be drawn.
THREE winner(s) will be chosen by electronic random draw.
The winner will be drawn on Tuesday 31st August 2021.
The winner(s) will be contacted via phone. If the winner(s) do not respond and accept their
prize within 5 working days, their prize will become invalid and a new winner will be drawn.

3. ENTRY DATES Start Date and End Date. From Monday 2nd August 2021 at 00.01am (“Start Date”) to Monday
30th August at 23:59pm (“End Date”).
Entries received before the Start Date or after the End Date will be invalid.
4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS • Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over on date of entry.
• Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved
in the Competition, incl. the Prize Provider, must not enter. Any such entries will be
void.
• We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with
any of the eligibility criteria and/or is in breach of these Terms. We reserve the
right to repeat the competition mechanic or any stage of it in order to draw a
winner that fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these
Specific Terms.
• Use of a false name will result in disqualification.
5. THE PRIZE A total of 3 winner(s) will each win:
• 1 x 12-month family membership to Yorkshire Wildlife Park.
A family pass is for 2 adults and 2 children.
A child is aged between 3 and 15.
An adult is 15+.
The membership is valid for 1 years from date of activation.
The Prize is provided by Yorkshire Wildlife Park and we are not responsible for any aspect of
the Prize, including but not limited to unsatisfactory quality or late delivery.
Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative will be offered.
Additional TCs
Due to Covid 19 and capacity restrictions on park, annual pass holders are required to book
their time slot online if they wish to visit the park. Availability is limited each day and booking
early is highly recommended to avoid disappointment. This policy will be reviewed in line with
Government announcements.
1 Subject to Covid 19 and capacity restrictions on park (as detailed above), all memberships
entitle the member to book unlimited time slots to access to the Wildlife Park for free during
normal opening times (see paragraph 8) for a period of 12 months commencing on the date
that you activate your membership, or such other date as agreed. Please note that
membership cards may not be valid for entry to certain Events including (but not limited to)
Safari Nights. These may incur an additional charge to attend the event.
2 The benefits and prices of memberships are as quoted on the Yorkshire Wildlife Park website
from time to time. Yorkshire Wildlife Park reserve the right to reduce or alter such benefits
attached to any membership at any time.
3 Members shall only be permitted entry to the Wildlife Park during normal opening hours
without paying the full current ticket admission price on the production of a valid membership
card. Any membership cards which have been altered in any way will be void. Membership
cards will remain property of Yorkshire Wildlife Park at all times. An administration charge of
£2.50 will be incurred for the replacement of any lost or stolen card.
4 Yorkshire Wildlife Park reserve the right to reject applications for membership or
membership renewals at their discretion. They also have the right to revoke your membership
should you fail to comply with these T&Cs (including but not limited to inappropriate or
abusive behaviour whilst on the premises).
All memberships purchased are non-exchangeable, non-refundable and are not for resale.
Yorkshire Wildlife Park are unable to make any refunds in the event of adverse weather
conditions or any other unforeseeable events which are beyond their reasonable control.
OTHER CONDITIONS
1. DATA PROTECTION. Names, email addresses, and /or telephone numbers (which, for all SMS competitions, will be
shared with our SMS provider,) will be collected and used to process entries. Winner’s details may be given to the
prize provider to arrange delivery of the prize. Your details may remain stored after the End Date but will not be
used for marketing unless you have ticked an opt-in box on entry. If you have, your details will be used in
accordance with the information given when you ticked the opt-in box and gave your consent. For more details, see:
http://www.bauerdatapromise.co.uk/. You acknowledge and agree that your details may be used to announce a
winner of the Competition publicly or where this information is requested, in order to fulfil our regulatory
obligations.
2. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONSENTS. By entering this Competition, you are consenting to our use of your entry
both to publicise this Competition, our radio station or any other radio station which we own or control. This means
that we may use all names, images, descriptions, photographs video footage, and other information, which you’ve
submitted on entry, in any media, without paying you and without any time restriction. You also agree that we may
film, record or photograph you in connection with the competition and /or the Prize (if you win!). We will own these
films, recordings or photographs and we may use them publicly, including on the internet, for our radio broadcasts
and/or for any promotional purposes. You will also have waived any moral rights or right to payment that you may
have had.
3. MISCELLANEOUS.
a. Entries that don’t comply with these terms won’t be accepted and you may be disqualified if we think
you’ve breached them.
b. One entry per person
c. If there is a dispute about the operation of the Competition or correctness of any answers given, our
decision is final and no discussion will be entered into on this subject.
d. The correct answers to questions must exactly match our answers to win.
e. We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during
a call.
f. You are responsible for all costs of entry.
g. You may be disqualified if you are incomprehensible, inaudible or if you appear to be driving, intoxicated
or likely to offend listeners.
h. As far as it is lawful to do so we exclude our liability for any losses suffered in connection with the
Competition / the Prize.
i. We may cancel / amend / end / suspend the Competition if we need to do so due to circumstances
outside our control.
