Competition Terms and Conditions

Introduction
As part of our new brand campaign, the Promoter (defined below) is running a prize promotion called ’Europe In Your Hands’, where 10 winners each receive:

A year’s worth of easyJet flights comprising 12 return trips for two adults to any destination available on the easyJet network (up to £100 per person per flight)

easyJet Plus membership for two (valid for 12 months)

Dedicated booking agent to book all easyJet flights

£100/100€ worth of easyJet Inflight vouchers

(the “Promotion”).

Promoter
The Promoter is easyJet Airline Company Limited (the “Promoter”)-
Eligibility to enter
Entries from third party agents or bulk entries will not be eligible.

Only one entry per person per day is permitted during the Promotional Period (as defined below).

Each Entrant must be, on the date of submitting their Entry, 18 years old or above, resident in the EEA and have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining from the end of the Promotional Period (defined below).

Entrants (or members of their families or households) must not be employees of the Promoter, its agents, or anyone professionally connected with this Promotion or its administration.

The Promoter may require the Entrants to provide proof that they are eligible to participate in this Promotion.

How to enter
The Promotion is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.

Entries must be made between 12:00 (BST) 26 May, 2020 and 12:00 (BST) on 01 July 2020 inclusive (the “Promotional Period”).

Each Entrant may submit one entry per person, per day during the Promotional Period however each Entry must be original and different to any other in order to be valid; any duplicate or stock Entries shall not be counted.

The Promoter will not be responsible for any Entries that are not received by it for any reason on or before the end of the Promotional Period, whether lost, delayed, corrupted or otherwise, and whether or not due to any technical difficulties or malfunctions with any Entry. Proof of transmission of an Entry is not proof of receipt.

Procedure details and selection of Winners
The winning Entries will be selected by the Promoter in accordance with the following process:

At the end of the Promotional Period, all valid Entries will be entered into the pool.

Winners will be drawn at random by an appointed representative of the Promoter.

The Winners will be selected on 03 July 2020 – and notified via email during week commencing 06 July 2020. If a Winner does not respond to the email within 48 hours the Promoter reserves the right to select a different Winner.

All further communications to redeem the Prize (defined below) shall be carried out via email using the email address provided to the Promoter.

The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the Promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
Prize
There will be a total of ten Winners across the easyJet network who will each win one Prize (the “Prize”). The Prize comprises:

A year’s worth of easyJet flights comprising 12 return trips for two to any destination available on the easyJet network.

easyJet Plus membership for two (valid for 12 months)

Dedicated booking agent to book all easyJet flights

£100/100€ worth of easyJet Inflight vouchers

Flights: the Winners can select any available travel dates between 1 January 2021 and 31 December 2021 subject to availability, for any easyJet flights on the easyJet network, subject to availability and up to the value of £100 per person per flight each way for the Winner and their chosen travel companion.

Annual membership for two to easyJet Plus (valid for 12 months from the date of issue).

Dedicated booking agent for all easyJet flights during the flight redemption period of 1 January 2021 until the 31 December 2021.

100/100€ easyJet Inflight vouchers which can be used on board easyJet flights against items available from the Bistro and Boutique brochure

No other expenses will be covered. For the avoidance of doubt, the Prize excludes (without limitation) travel insurance, transfers, spending money and any additions not expressly included within the Prize.

The Winners agree to co-operate and provide all information necessary for the Promoter to arrange the Prize.

The flights must be booked before 31 December 2021 via the Promoters dedicated call centre booking number.

The Winner will be solely responsible for ensuring that they and their travel companion(s) are able to travel, and that they hold a valid passport, any necessary visas and travel documents for the flights in question between the dates agreed.

All bookings must be booked in the Winner’s name and cannot be exchanged.

The Winner and their travel companion must travel together.

Travel dates and flights are subject to availability.

Any cancellation or changes to any booking will be subject to the Promoters charges in accordance with the booking terms and conditions.

The Prize is non-refundable, non-transferable and there is no cash alternative available. The Promoter reserves the right to offer alternative prizes, of equal or greater value, should the Prize become unavailable for reasons beyond its control.
Privacy
The Promoter will collect and process Entrants’ personal information submitted in the Entry and this may be shared with the Promoter’s contractors and agents for the purpose of conducting the Promotion (including for Prizes to be delivered). 2. By entering the Promotion, Entrants agree that the Promoter may use the Entrants’ name in such material as the Promoter may choose (including but not limited to easyJet.com, easyJet social media, easyJet’s inflight magazine, easyJet internal channels and aircraft interiors) for promotional purposes in connection with the Promotion without additional consideration. The full name of the Winner of the Promotion may also be made available to the public on written request.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable to any Entrant for any loss or damage howsoever caused (whether in contract, tort (including negligence), statutory duty or otherwise) arising out of or in connection with the Promotion or the Prize.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from accepting any Prize.

Liability in relation to carriage is governed by the Promoter’s general terms and conditions at: easyjet.com/en/terms-and-conditions, save that Regulation EC261/2004 does not apply to Prize flights and no compensation will be payable in the event of flight delay or cancellation.. The Prize does not constitute a package holiday or linked travel arrangement for the purposes of the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018.

Statutory rights are not affected.
General
By submitting an Entry, each Entrant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the Promotion or these Terms and Conditions.

The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the Prize to anyone in breach of these Terms and Conditions.

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any Entries where the Promoter knows or has reason to believe that the publication of their Entry could lead to damage to the Promoter’s reputation or business.

Winners are responsible for any personal taxes (excluding passenger taxes) which they may be liable for in their country of residence as a result of receiving the Prize.

If any act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these Terms and Conditions the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations.

Unless otherwise provided by applicable law, these terms and this Promotion shall be governed by the laws of England.

You can bring proceedings in respect of these terms and the Promotion in the English courts. However, if you are a consumer resident in another EU member state, you may be able to bring proceedings in that member state and benefit from its mandatory provisions of law. Nothing in these terms, including Article 8, affects your rights as a consumer to rely on such mandatory provisions of local law.
