Competition Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions (the “Specific Terms”) for the Competition should be read alongside our general competition terms and conditions at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html (the “General Terms”) which will also apply to this Competition. Where there is any conflict between these Specific Terms and the General Terms, the Specific Terms shall prevail.

1.Entry ROUTES and Costs

Entries are restricted to one entry per person.

2.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN

There is only one winner for this competition. The prize winner must get the answer correct and will be selected by electronic random draw.

3. ENTRY PERIOD

Entries must be submitted during the following entry period:

From Saturday 19th June at 00:01 (the “Start Time”) to Sunday 27th June at 23:45 (“End Time”).

Entries received before the Start Time or after the End Time will be invalid.

4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS

Open to UK residents aged [18] years or over on date of entry.
You can only win one of the Fast and Furious 9 competitions running across both KISS and Absolute during this campaign (June 2021)
Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter.
We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with any of the eligibility criteria and/or is in breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to repeat the competition mechanic or any stage of it in order to draw a winner that fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms.
Anyone who has won a Bauer competition to the value of £500 or more within the past 6 months on any Bauer Radio Brand, will not be eligible to take part in this competition nor will anyone else at their address. If by any chance they get through to the phone lines – any prize they have been successful with will not be awarded. Prize package inclusions for 2 adults terms and conditions:

Travel allowance is provided to the value of £100; a valid credit or debit card will be required for security deposit purposes when checking into accommodation; accommodation in based on two adults sharing a double room; winners will be provided with a selection of hotel accommodation options in or near to winner’s chosen location at the prize provider’s discretion and accommodation selection will vary dependent on location; prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable; no cash alternative is available; prize is subject to availability; prize cannot be taken from 21st December 2021– 2nd January 2022 (Christmas and New Year), over UK bank holidays, or over Easter Sunday; prize is valid for 20 months from the date of notification of winning, and travel must be booked and completed within that time frame; winners must contact prize provider with three preferred travel dates in three separate months no later than six weeks prior to departure; all elements of the prize must be taken at the same time; once booked, the prize cannot be altered or amended; at least one traveller must be aged 18 or over; where any travellers are aged under 18, they must have prior parental or guardian permission; the prize excludes domestic ground transfers; the prize excludes meals and drinks, excursions, attractions, treatments, car hire, visas and personal expenses and anything not expressly included in the prize; for the driving experience, the minimum age is 17 years, minimum height is 5’0” and maximum height is 6’6”, the maximum weight is 18 stone; Participants must present a full UK driving licence on the day; experience is available Monday-Friday, weekends will incur an additional £20 fee per person, payable by winner/guest; If the stated activity is unavailable over winner’s preferred travel dates then alternative activities of equal value will be offered by prize provider; If winner chooses to forfeit the stated activity then no alternative activities will be provided; Dinner is provided to the value of £150 incl. gratuity; Prize must be taken in accordance with government guidelines and COVID-19 rules and restrictions; The Prize Provider is Element London Ltd. Please note due to the current Covid-19 situation, delivery times may be extended and may over-run the 28day delivery period as noted in our General Terms and Conditions. There may also be delays to a member of staff contacting winners once the competition has ended.

Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative will be offered.

The Prize is provided by Bauer Media (the “Prize Provider”) and will be managed by Element Prizing. We are not responsible for any aspect of the Prize, including unsatisfactory quality or late delivery or a prize winner being unable to take up any aspect, or the entirety of the prize due to their own circumstances or restrictions.

Your details will be given to our prizing company ‘Element Prizing’ who will discuss your prize with you.

Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative will be offered.

All prizes are subject to availability. In the event that any of the products listed above are unavailable, alternative products of equal value will be provided; Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there may be extended delays to deliveries; We will endeavour to get products delivered to winners as quickly as possible. All elements of the prize are subject to availability; prize is non-refundable and non-transferable; no cash alternative is available; prize may need to be signed for on delivery and it is the recipient’s responsibility to ensure that all items are present, correct and undamaged; recipient may need to provide ID on delivery; It is the responsibility of the winner to provide the correct delivery information to prize provider; items will be delivered to one address within mainland UK; prizes will be delivered within 28 days of confirming delivery address.

By entering this Competition, you are consenting to our use of your entry both to publicise this Competition, our radio station or any other radio station which we own or control. This means that we may use all names, images, descriptions, photographs video footage, and other information, which you’ve submitted on entry, in any media, without paying you and without any time restriction. You also agree that we may film, record or photograph you in connection with the competition and /or the Prize (if you win!). We will own these films, recordings or photographs and we may use them publicly, including on the internet, for our radio broadcasts and/or for any promotional purposes. You will also have waived any moral rights or right to payment that you may have had.

3. MISCELLANEOUS.

a) Entries that don’t comply with these terms won’t be accepted and you may be disqualified if we think you’ve breached them.

b) One entry per person

c) If there is a dispute about the operation of the Competition or correctness of any answers given, our decision is final and no discussion will be entered into on this subject.

d) The winner must be available at the time needed for the virtual call or they will forfeit the prize.

e) We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text / contact through social to enter, or if you lose signal during a call.

f) You are responsible for all costs of entry.

g) You may be disqualified if you are incomprehensible, inaudible or if you appear to be driving, intoxicated or likely to offend listeners.

We may cancel / amend / end / suspend the Competition if we need to do so due to circumstances outside our control.

Entries which do not comply with these Terms or the General Competition Terms and Conditions will not be accepted and any entries may be disqualified if we have any reason to suspect that there is a breach of, or non-compliance with, these Terms.
Where a competition mechanic involves the answering of questions, the correct answers to questions must match our answers to win (or be sufficiently close in our sole reasonable opinion) to be acceptable. In the event of any dispute about any answers given and whether they are correct, we reserve the right to amend what we deem a correct answer, however we are not obliged to, and our decision in either case is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
As far as it is lawful to do so we exclude our liability for any losses suffered in connection with the Competition or any element of the Prize.
We may cancel, end or suspend the Competition where we are required to do so in circumstances outside our control. We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any stage during the Competition if such amendment is necessary to facilitate the administration of the Competition.
