Competition Description
The winner and a guest will spend two nights at this pretty seaside retreat in the town of Southwold in Suffolk. The hotel is owned and run by the family behind the iconic Adnams brewery and distillery. A recent restoration has reinvigorated this 17th century Georgian Coach House and injected a touch of urban style mixing curios and collectables with fresh modern colours and comfy fabrics.
The prize includes a two-night stay in one of the hotel’s Outstanding Rooms, the largest of room offerings, complete with a lounge area and views of the marketplace or garden below. For supper on the first night, dine in The Still Room where there is a regularly rotating menu of locally inspired dishes included battered monkfish and chips. On the second night, the prize winner will dine in The Tap Room which is a perfect expression of a modern pub: serving over 17 varieties of Adnams beer and informal dishes in a back-bar setting. Breakfast is also complimentary and can even be taken in bed.

1.1 This competition closes on 18 September 2019.
1.2 Any entries received after the Closing Date (for whatever reason) will be invalid.
1.3 Condé Nast Publications Ltd decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into. Condé Nast Publications Ltd reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel or amend without notice the terms of this promotion in the event of major catastrophe, war, strike, earthquake or any actual or anticipated or alleged breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other circumstance beyond either Condé Nast Publications Ltd control.
1.4 This competition is governed by English law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
2. Entrant restrictions
2.1 Open to UK and Eire residents only. Entrants must be at least 18 years of age and proof of age will be required before the prize is dispatched.
2.2 The competition is not open to anyone associated with The Condé Nast Publications Ltd or any associated companies.
2.3 The Condé Nast Publications Limited reserves the right to ask entrants to verify eligibility to enter by providing a valid form of I.D.
3. Route of Entry
3.1 Entry is free of charge – no purchase is necessary, internet access is required.
3.2 No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are lost or delayed, or which are not received for any reason.
3.3 Condé Nast Publications Ltd accepts no responsibility for damage or loss resulting from misdirected or incomplete entries arising from the Eligible Participant’s error, computer malfunction, viruses, bugs or other such causes.

4. Competition Details
4.1 All qualifying entrants who answer the question correctly will be placed in a free prize draw.
4.2 The prize-winner will be drawn at random after the closing date.
4.3 Winners will be notified within 28 days of the draw taking place. They will have 7 days to claim the prize. After which if not claimed, another winner will be chosen at random.
4.4 The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
4.5 The prize is two nights accommodation for two people on a bed and breakfast basis at The Swan in an Outstanding Room.
4.6 One dinner for two people in The Still Room is included.
4.7 One dinner for two people in The Tap Room is also included.
4.8 A picnic, delivered by a butler from the Swan, is included in the prize.
5. Prize Restrictions and Details
5.1 There is no cash alternative to the prize.
5.2 The prize must be taken by the 11 September 2020.
5.3 The prize is subject to availability and non-refundable, based on two people sharing one room.
5.4 Holiday insurance is not included and must be purchased before travel.
5.5 Black-out dates apply: the prize cannot be taken over the August Bank Holiday weekend or during Latitude Festival.
