Competition Terms and Conditions

The prize draw opens Friday 20th August 2021 at 09:00:00 and closes Tuesday 30th November 2021 at 23:59:59. Entries submitted before or after that date and time will not be valid.
Proof of submission is not proof of receipt. Frugi accepts no responsibility for entries incomplete, delayed, damaged, wrongly delivered or not received for whatever reason.
One entry per person, plus a bonus entry if someone enters via your shared link on social media.
This competition is open to UK residents only, aged 21 or over.
To enter complete and submit the online entry form found in the ‘Win a trip to Santa’s Lapland’ blog.
One winner will be chosen at random on Wednesday 1st December 2021 and will be notified by Friday 3rd December 2021. They will be contacted via email with instructions on how to claim their prizes.
If you are the winner of this prize draw, you agree that the Promoter may use your name, image and town or county of residence to announce the winner and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes. You further agree to participate in any reasonable publicity required by the Promoter without any financial reward.
By entering this prize draw, you agree that any personal information provided by you with your prize draw entry may be held and used only by the Promoter and giveaway Partners to administer this prize draw.
The prize includes a three-day, two-night Santa’s magic trip for two adults and two children aged 2-12 years to Lapland (Saariselkä) in Finland in December 2022 up to the value of £5,000, plus £500 worth of Frugi clothes. Total competition value is £5,500. (Children under two years of age are not recommended to travel)
The £5,000 prize can be redeemed on one booking only. It cannot be split across separate bookings.
The prize includes half board accommodation, with transfers and return economy flights from one of our regional airports in the UK subject to availability, which includes Gatwick, Luton, Stanstead, Bournemouth, Bristol, Cardiff, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool, Newcastle, Glasgow, Edinburgh, or East Midlands.
The trip will include a Search for Santa Day, including a private family meeting with Santa Claus and snow fun activities. Any optional Lapland adventure activities are extra.
The trip must be taken between 25th November and 24th December 2022 inclusive, with actual travel dates dependent on your preferred flight route.
Travel to the airport is not included, and any costs of travel to and from the airport in the UK, travel insurance, parking, food, and drink outside of the hotel meal plan, spending money and all and any other incidental travel expenses are not included in the prize.
The £500 purchase with Frugi is to be made by 31st December 2021. This will not be valid to use on sale items or gift vouchers.
The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is non-transferable and is subject to availability. If the value of the package holiday, exclusive of extras, is less than £5,000, the winner will not be entitled to receive the difference in cash.
Events may occur that render the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of Santa’s Lapland.
Santa’s Lapland reserves the right to change the prize or rearrange the date at any time and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to Santa’s Lapland as a result thereof.

This competition is not open to Frugi or Santa’s Lapland employees and their families, including close friends, partners or relatives of employees, or employees of other Hotelplan UK companies and those associated with the operation or promotion of the competition. Any such entries will be deemed invalid.
If a winner does not claim their prize within one week, the prize will be forfeited, and another winner will be selected.
Frugi reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value should circumstances make this necessary.
Prizes will be sent directly to the winner by Frugi and the giveaway Partners once a winner has been selected and contacted. Prizes will be sent on different days by different couriers to the agreed address of the winner.
The closing date for this prize draw may be extended.
Entry into this competition is acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Entry is free and no purchase is necessary.
The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and no physical cash alternatives are available. Entries cannot be returned.
Frugi and the giveaway Partners do not accept responsibility for any entries which are lost, delayed, incomplete or otherwise not received or cannot be entered for technical or any other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt. Incomplete or illegible entries or those not in accordance with the entry instructions and these terms and conditions are invalid.
The Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury, or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. The entrant’s statutory rights are not affected.
The Promoters reserve all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit of intention of the prize draw.
If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoters may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in this prize draw.
The Promoters reserve the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend this prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.
The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the promotion will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Frugi and Santa’s Lapland reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
