Competition Terms and Conditions

The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at https://www.heart.co.uk/terms-conditions/  (the “ Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions apply to ‘Talk Talk Virtual Party’ radio competition (the “Competition”) which will run from Wednesday 6th May 2020 to Thursday 14th May 2020 on the Heart Network (the “Radio Station”).
Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.  
 
Details of the Competition:
To enter the Competition an Entrant must go online to www.heart.co.uk, register their details and tell us in 300 characters or less who will be on their call & why. Online entry will open at 00.01am on Wednesday 6th May 2020 and close at 10:00am on Tuesday 12th May 2020.
By taking part in this Competition you agree the following:
 You give consent to Mark Wright joining a video call between yourself and members of your family and/or friends and to Heart recording the call. You consent to Heart sharing the recording, in whole or in part, online atwww.heart.co.uk, on its social media platforms and on air. I acknowledge that the recording will contain the imagery and full names of participants in the call, including my own. 
 
You confirm you are responsible for and have obtained the consent of this activity from all participants in the video call, including the consent of the parent(s) and/or legal guardian(s) of any participants under the age of 18.
 
For each Zoom call, there will be the Entrant’s household and 3 other nominated households (friends, family)on the call to take part. A ‘lead player’ will be assigned in each household. 
Entries will be judged on the following criteria of being heart-warming, upbeat, feel good and original. The Heart Producers’ decision is final.
If any submitted entry is deemed to be rude, offensive, illegal, condoning dangerous behaviour or not deemed appropriate for Heart’s Feel Good family audience, it will be excluded from the competition.
From all entries received after the closing date, 20 entrants will be selected at random. From those 20 selected, 6 finalists will be chosen based on the above criteria.
The 6 finalists will be contacted on Tuesday May 12th via the contact details supplied to discuss how to prepare for the calls and submit details of their 3 nominated households and the ‘lead player’ from each one. If Global cannot contact an Entrant or a nominated ‘lead player’ via the details they provided after three attempts, they may forfeit their right to take part and another finalist will be selected based on the criteria.
Heart will be the hosts of each Zoom call and will provide the Entrant and their three nominated households a Zoom Call link.
The chosen finalists and their ‘lead player’ must ensure they are able to receive a Zoom call via a laptop between 5.30pm and 6.10pm on Wednesday May 13th 2020. If they are unable to take a Zoom call at this time, they will forfeit their place in the Competition.
The order that Mark Wright joins a call will be randomly selected beforehand.
Once Mark has joined the call, a challenge will be set. The challenge will be for the Entrant and one member from each of the other three households, to each fetch 2 household items beginning with the letter of the alphabet Mark gives them, within 60 seconds. Mark will reveal what that letter will be when he joins a call. These letters will be randomly pre-selected.  If the Entrant and the member from each of the other three households complete the task, the Entrant who registered for the Competition will win the main prize as detailed below. Each of the ‘lead players’ will receive a smart speaker.
If the challenge isn’t completed, then no-one wins.
There are 3 main prizes and 9 runner up prizes to be won.
Entrants acknowledge that their video call at the point Mark Wright is involved may be used on Heart and/or TalkTalk channels including websites, competition pages, social channels, newsletters/emails as part of the Competition.
Global cannot be held responsible for any poor video call signal due to reasons beyond its control i.e. low bandwith, localised heavy web traffic and should any participant’s call drop out, freeze or be terminated, they forfeit the right to any prize. 
The Entrants and their ‘lead players’ must not have any backgrounds added on their Zoom calls due to copyright issues. User names must not be abusive, derogatory or offensive, otherwise Heart will terminate the call and the Entrant will forfeit their place in the Competition.

Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Competition.

There are three main prizes and 9 runner up prizes.
 
For successful completion of the task outlined by Mark Wright, each of the three winning Entrants will  receive:

Sonos One 2nd Generation Wireless Smart Speaker
1 x Amazon Echo Dot
£500 Sainsbury’s Gift Card
 
And each of their three nominated households will receive:
 
1 x Google Nest Hub smart speaker
 
Specific Prize Terms:
Should these products be unavailable at the time of purchase, NDL Group reserves the right to substitute with an alternative of equal or greater value. Specifications are subject to change. 
Sainsbury’s e-code voucher will expire after 24 months. Customer will not be able to use this e-code after that date and any unused balance on the card will be lost. 
All prizes will be delivered within 28 working days from the date that NDL receives confirmation of the delivery address from the winner. NDL will do their best to adhere to these time frames, however due to the uncertainty around the full impact of the Coronavirus, there may be delays with stock availability and deliveries.
Global reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize at its absolute discretion and there is no cash alternative.
