Home to lush alpine meadows, craggy peaks with a sprinkling of snow and chocolate box farmhouses, the Alpbach Valley is an ideal place for a summer holiday.
Located between the Kitzbühel Alps and the Rofan Range, Alpbach offers a picture-perfect setting for a mountain getaway. Situated 50 km from Innsbruck and 30 km from Kufstein, reaching the resort could not be easier.
Aside from the spectacular scenery, it also has more than 900 km of marked walking paths and more than 250 km of designated mountain bike trails for guests looking to make the most of the great outdoors. And, with more than 30 huts nestled across the mountains – ideally located for those ramblers and cyclists – there’s always a welcoming lounge, well-deserved meal or comfy bed on offer.
For those more into water than walking, there are plenty of sparkling bathing lakes for guests to enjoy a dip. Head to Lake Reintal, which is the largest of the Kramsach Lakes and also considered one of the Austrian Tirol’s warmest, with temperatures reaching 25°C. Alternatively, why not sing up to a white-water adventure, whether it be jumping into the swell or riding the current in a raft (with an instructor)?
Take a break from the action and visit the many cultural highlights available. Discover the Museum of Tirolean Farmhouses in Kramsach, the Tirol’s largest open-air museum situated near Lake Reintal. Here, 14 farmhouses and 23 outbuildings bear witness to the fascinating history. Visitors can also learn about copper and silver mining back in the 15th and 16th centuries at the Museum of Mining and Metallurgy in Brixlegg and visit an incredible collection of religious art at the Augustinian Museum Rattenberg.
Plus, with the Alpbachtal Seenland Card (which is included in the prize) guests can make sure they get the very best, and most, from their holiday, with daily free rides on mountain lifts in Alpbachtal, bus services within the region, access to many of the lakes and swimming pools and entry to museums and cultural gems.

of Participation
The following Terms and Conditions of Participation apply
to Competitions organised by Tirol Werbung GmbH:
1. The competition organiser is Tirol Werbung GmbH, Maria-Theresien-Straße 55, A – 6020
Innsbruck
2. By participating in this competition, the participant accepts these Terms and Conditions of
Participation.
3. Participation in the competition is independent of the purchase of goods or services from Tirol
Werbung GmbH.
4. Participation is open to those aged 18 years or older at the time of entry, being resident of the UK.
5. The competition closes on 13th September 2019 and the winner will be notified by the Tirol Tourist
Board by 27th September 2019.
6. Tirol Werbung GmbH employees are excluded from participation.
7. To participate in the competition, participants must answer the competition questions correctly,
enter his or her personal data and send to Tirol Werbung GmbH by pressing the “Take part in
competition” button.
8. The winner will be chosen at random from all eligible entries received by the competition closing
date.
9. The winner will be notified via email.
10. The holiday prize is supplied by the Alpbachtal Seenland Tourist Board. Prize is subject to
availability at the time of booking. Not valid in peak season dates. The holiday must be taken in summer
2020 before 30th September 2020. Prize is for two people (sharing a room) and includes flights, seven
nights’ accommodation on a half board basis plus two Albpachtal Seenland Cards by Alpbachtal
Seenland Tourist Board. The price does resort transfer. The prize EXCLUDES travel to the airport in
the UK, equipment rental, tuition and any additional costs and expenses incurred during the trip.
Personal travel insurance is not included with this prize. The competition is open to residents of the UK
aged 18 years or over. No purchase necessary. One entry per household. The prize is non-exchangeable,
non-transferable and non-refundable. The winner must be included in the travelling party. There is no
cash alternative and no alternative holidays will be offered.

11. Cash instead of the prize or an exchange of prizes is not possible.
12. Data submitted by participants in this competition will be stored by Tirol Werbung GmbH
exclusively for the implementation of this competition. It will not be passed on to any third party and
will be deleted after the end of the competition.

14. The judge’s decision is final.
