Competition Terms and Conditions

The Promoter of this competition is Wanderlust Travel Media.

The Provider of this competition is Saint Lucia Tourism Authority, Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort and Anse Chastanet.
This competition is open to residents of the UK and Ireland aged 18 or over, except for employees of the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority, Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort, Anse Chastanet, Wanderlust and their families, agencies or anyone else associated with this competition.
One entry per person.

There will be one overall prize and is valid for a maximum of 2 adults (one winner plus guest) and must be taken in one trip. The prize consists of two return airline seats from London Gatwick Airport to Saint Lucia, with four nights at 4* Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort on a Bed & Breakfast basis and three nights at 4* Anse Chastanet Resort on a Half Board basis for two adults sharing and return on-island airport transfers and hotel transfers courtesy of Saint Lucia Tourism Authority. Both hotel and flights are subject to availability.

The competition will close at 23: 59 on the 10 February 2020. The winner will be selected at random from the entries.

The winner will be contacted by email or phone and details will be provided via email on how to claim and book the prize. In the event that the prize notification email is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternative winner will be selected from all remaining (non-winning) eligible entries. The winner must confirm acceptance in writing of the prize and these terms and conditions within 7 days of being contacted.

The prize is subject to availability and valid for travel until 18th December 2021 inclusive. Blackout dates would be December 20, 2020 – January 4, 2021, the month of February and major holidays (eg Christmas, New Year, Easter). Other blackout dates may apply. Reservations subject to availability both at resort and on the airline.

Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort, Anse Chastanet and Saint Lucia Tourism Authority make no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at the destination.

Compliance with any health, travel protocols or other government requirements is the responsibility of the prize winner and companion.

The winner and their chosen companion must comply with all relevant customs, travel protocols, security and immigration requirements, including appropriate passport and visa requirements. The prize winner and their companion are responsible for holding a passport with at least six months validity remaining after the return to the UK and must organise relevant visas where required. UK passport holders do not require a visa to visit Saint Lucia. Saint Lucia Tourism Authority, Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort and Anse Chastanet will not be responsible for any passenger’s failure to comply with these requirements.

The prize does NOT include any insurance, travel to and from London Gatwick airport, or any travel or other expenses during the trip unless otherwise stated. Any out of pocket expenses (such as phone, room service, drinks purchases, gifts and food) are not included in the prize.

Any costs incurred from changes post booking, such as a name change or other amends, are the winner’s responsibility to pay.

The winner is responsible for getting to any departure points (for flights etc), in time for security checks and the check-in procedures on the day of departure.

There is no cash alternative and the prize is not transferable.

No purchase necessary

The prize must be taken as stated within the competition terms and conditions and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated.

In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, disaster or any other circumstance beyond the control of the Promoter or Provider, they reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion at any time and without notice. This also applies to any actual, anticipated or alleged breach of any applicable law or regulation, or if travel would be contrary to UK Foreign Office advice, or if circumstances arise outside of its control that prevent the implementation of the prize.

Entries can only be submitted online via the competition entry on Wanderlust’s website. Entrants must enter a valid name and email address.

The prize promoter cannot accept responsibility for late or lost entries. Entry cannot be accepted if all details are not provided.

Incomplete, fraudulent, multiple or spam entries will be disallowed. Only entries submitted following the specified entry mechanics will be deemed valid entries. Any entries which are deemed offensive will be disqualified at the discretion of the Promoter or Provider and no further correspondence will be entered into.

Saint Lucia Tourism Authority, Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort and Anse Chastanet shall not be responsible for any indirect, special or consequential damages or losses suffered by the entrant or a third party.
The winner may be required to take part in reasonable publicity and by entering the competition or prize draw.

The Promoter will also use entrants’ personal data for direct marketing purposes where consent has been provided via the opt-in check boxes provided. This includes communications containing news, offers and information. We may also share your personal information, if opt in consent has been given, with third parties, to help manage our business and deliver services. These third parties may include service providers, who perform functions on our behalf such as sending emails, analysis of data, providing marketing assistance. Personal data may be transferred and processed outside of the EU and EEA. You have the right to ask us for more information about the safeguards put in place for transfer of data. You have the right to opt-out at any time, by following the links in the communications to you.

The Prize Provider collects contact information about entrants in order to contact them about the promotion and where appropriate award prizes and may also use the information to assist the Provider in improving goods and services and to contact entrants in the future with special offers via any medium including mail and commercial electronic messages.

When you enter the competition, you agree to be bound by these rules.

Saint Lucia Tourism Authority, Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort and Anse Chastanet do not accept responsibility for loss, damage or injury occurring to the participant arising from his or her entry into the promotion or occurring to the winner(s) arising from his or her acceptance of the prize.

The promotion is subject to the laws of England.
