The winner and guest will stay for three nights, B&B, at Marine North Berwick. One of the grandes dames of Scottish golf hotels, it reopened in September after a multimillion-pound refurb and overlooks a landscape where the sport has been played since the 17th century. The hotel’s decor celebrates its Victorian origins, while the MasterChef: The Professionals finalist Chris Niven offers a well-balanced menu at the Lawn restaurant — expect Tweed Valley beef, Loch Duart salmon and heritage beets served with local crowdie cheese.
