The winner and guest will stay for three nights, B&B, at the Hôtel Chais Monnet & Spa in Cognac, France. Set in five acres near the town’s medieval core, this former cognac trading house has become a chic, modern hotel with a state-of-the-art spa. There are two restaurants: the contemporary brasserie La Distillerie and Michelin-starred Les Foudres, where Marc Antoine Lepage’s menus brim with local ingredients such as poularde from La Ferme de Tauziet, organic lamb from Charente and Marennes oysters.
