Competition Terms and Conditions

By entering this competition; entrants agree to be bound by these rules.

Crew Clothing Company, Merchants House & The Booty, Salcombe, Salcombe Distilling Co. reserve the right to cancel or amend the competition rules at any time. Prizes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. All partners reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value at any time. If the potential winner is unable to take the prize, the potential winner shall forfeit any and all rights to the prize.

Crew Clothing Company, Merchants House & The Booty, Salcombe, Salcombe Distilling Co. or any company involved in the competition or members of their immediate family or household are not eligible to enter the competition.

Entry is open to UK residents only. There is no purchase requirement to enter the competition. Entrants must be 18 years of age or over.

To enter participants must visit the competition page, submit their details and provide the information on the entry form (including email address, first name and last name).

The prize includes:

A luxury 3-night family staycation in Merchants House on Monday 4th – Thursday 7th October 2021
A Salcombe Gin hamper
A meal cooked by a local chef for 4 adults
A 4-hour rib ride around the Salcombe Estuary with a captain
2 x Gin School Lessons for two to share on for Tuesday 5th October 2021 at 2pm

Prize is valid between Monday 4th – Thursday 7th October 2021. The competition will end on 15/08/21. There is one prize to be won. Dates will not vary. The winner will be drawn at random and notified by Tuesday 24/08/21 by 5pm. Details of the winner will be available from Crew Clothing Company, 20 Lydden Road, London SW18 4LR.

The taking of the prize experience is a contract between the winner and the providers of the various elements of the prize experience and is subject also to any terms and conditions of the providers of those elements as listed below.

Merchants House & The Booty, Salcombe

A luxury 3-night family staycation in Merchants House on Monday 4th – Thursday 7th October 2021. The accommodation must be booked by contacting info@merchantshousesalcombe.co.uk and booking will be confirmed 4 weeks prior to arrival date.

The meal cooked by a local chef is for 4 adults. Additional members can be accommodated for the meal at £50per person. To be confirmed at point of booking.

The rib ride is for 4 adults and is subject to water conditions and maybe cancelled if conditions are not deemed suitable. There is no cash value for a refund if the ride is cancelled.

The provider reserves the right to cancel the stay during overbooking periods. All damages and breakages must be paid for directly to the property, this does not include reasonable wear and tear. The cost for any services (e.g. additional cleaning, repairs etc) are to be inline with industry standards and any replacement items are to be purchased at cost and are to be like for like as much as possible. The prize does not include drinks and personal expenses outside of the board related to the stay.

Salcombe Distilling Co.

2 x Gin School Lessons for two to share at the award-winning Salcombe Gin School experience where you and a partner will take charge of a beautiful mini copper still to develop and distil your very own 70cl bottle of gin to share. Gin school lesson is for over 18 years only. No children allowed. The Gin School is booked for Tuesday 5th October 2021 at 2pm. Due to capacity and social distancing measure this date cannot be moved.

Crew Clothing Company, Merchants House & The Booty, Salcombe, Salcombe Distilling Co. and their affiliates are not liable for any accident, injury or loss incurred by the prize winner’s participation in prize travel and accommodation.

Entrants agree on their behalf, and on behalf of their respective heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives, successors and assigns (“Released Parties”) to release, defend and hold harmless Crew Clothing Company, and any partner involved, as well as the employees, officers, directors and agents of each, from any and all actions, causes of action, suits, expenses, lost profits, indirect or direct damages, consequential damages, incidental damages, punitive or exemplary damages, judgments, claims and demands whatsoever against Released Parties arising out of or in connection with entrant’s participation, acceptance and use or misuse of any prize, including any travel related activities.

The prize winner may be required to participate in reasonable publicity; Crew Clothing Company reserves the right to use names of winners, their photographs and audio/visual recordings of them in publicity. Photos may be used in the press or online.

All partners’ decision is final; no correspondence will be entered into. Only one entry is allowed per person. No responsibility will be accepted for entries that are lost, delayed, mislaid or damaged in the post. Proof of posting will not be regarded as proof of delivery.

Entries not in accordance with the rules will be disqualified. By entering the competition, competitors will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these rules. The laws of England and Wales govern this agreement. The competition will be promoted by all partners.
