The winner and guest will stay for two nights, B&B, in a suite at the Grove of Narberth, The Sunday Times’s Welsh hotel of the year in 2020. The Grove is a privately owned country hotel set in 28 acres of mature gardens, not far from the Pembrokeshire coast. Most of its 26 guest rooms have recently been refurbished and feature details such as exposed beams, vintage fireplaces and deep, cast-iron baths.
Douglas Balish, the executive chef at the Grove’s Fernery restaurant, which has been awarded three AA rosettes, draws on Pembrokeshire’s rich local larder. For further information on the Grove go to thegrove-narberth.co.uk or phone 01834 860915. For more on autumn breaks in the county see visitpembrokeshire.com.
