Competition Terms and Conditions

Participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions
1. Terms and Conditions
1.1 This competition closes on 28 May 2019.

1.2 Any entries received after the Closing Date (for whatever reason) will be invalid

1.3 Condé Nast Publications Ltd decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into. Condé Nast Publications Ltd reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel or amend without notice the terms of this promotion in the event of major catastrophe, war, strike, earthquake or any actual or anticipated or alleged breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other circumstance beyond either Condé Nast Publications Ltd control.

1.4 This competition is governed by English law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

2. Entrant restrictions
2.1 Open to UK and Eire residents only. Entrants must be at least 18 years of age and proof of age will be required before the prize is dispatched.

2.2 The competition is not open to anyone associated with The Condé Nast Publications Ltd or any associated companies.

2.3 The Condé Nast Publications Limited reserves the right to ask entrants to verify eligibility to enter by providing a valid form of I.D.

3. Route of Entry
3.1 Entry is free of charge – no purchase is necessary, internet access is required.

3.2 No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are lost or delayed, or which are not received for any reason.

3.3 Condé Nast Publications Ltd accepts no responsibility for damage or loss resulting from misdirected or incomplete entries arising from the Eligible Participant’s error, computer malfunction, viruses, bugs or other such causes.

3.4 Condé Nast Publications Ltd are in no way liable for the reproduction or indirect access via third party websites or home page access or where any reproduction of the information relating to this competition misstates or omits any of the information or terms and conditions connected with the competition.

4. Competition Details
4.1 All qualifying entrants who answer the question correctly will be placed in a free prize draw.

4.2 The prize-winner will be drawn at random after the closing date.

4.3 Winners will be notified within 28 days of the draw taking place. They will have 7 days to claim the prize. After which if not claimed, another winner will be chosen at random.

4.4 The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

4.5 The prize is five-nights accommodation at The Beach Club at Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina in South Carolina in a King Harborview Deluxe room for two people on a bed and breakfast basis.

4.6 The prize includes one complimentary dinner for two people in The Fish House Restaurant (excluding alcohol).

4.7 One full Day Cabana Rental at the Resort Pool with sparkling wine and a fruit plate is included.

4.8 Two 50-minute Nirvana Stress Relief Massages at The Estuary Spa (one per person, two massages total) is included.

4.9 Return economy flights with British Airways from London Heathrow to Charleston International Airport are included in the prize.

4.10 Black Car transfers to and from the Charleston Airport to The Beach Club are included.

5. Prize Restrictions and Details
5.1 There is no cash alternative to the prize.

5.2 The prize must be taken by 24 October 2019.

5.3 The prize is subject to availability and non-refundable.

5.4 Black-out dates apply, including the Fourth of July.

5.5 Terms and conditions are subject to change without notice.

6. Flight Terms And Conditions
6.1 The prize flights are subject to availability. Tickets are valid for travel on BA 221 London Heathrow to Charleston and BA 220 Charleston to London Heathrow within the specified period in clause 5.2. The Winner is responsible for any additional expenses, including transportation to and from the airport and all incidental expenses.

6.2 Prizewinner details (full name, date of birth, passport & contact details) must be supplied to cntravlller.com, within 48 hours of the winning announcement on 29 May 2019. The winner should also supply 3 date options for travel. These details will be shared with British Airways to complete the flight booking.

6.3 Both tickets must be redeemed at the same time and cannot be split. Tickets must be used on the same journey, on the same day and the same flights.

6.4 Where available, all prize flights will be issued as e-tickets. All transportation taxes, fees and charges are included. Tickets cannot be upgraded, transferred, sold or exchanged.

6.5 All travel on BA flights is subject to BA’s General Conditions of Carriage for Passengers and Baggage (see ba.com) and the notice and conditions of contract contained on each ticket and itinerary.

6.6 The winner and his/her travelling companion are responsible for supplying valid passports and visas and obtaining inoculations that may be required to visit the destination that is their prize.

6.7 Any other incidental expenses are not included in the above prize and must be paid for by the Winner. For the avoidance of doubt, BA will have no liability in relation to travel costs associated with travelling to or from the airports. In addition, the winner is responsible for any income or use tax assessed in connection with the prize.

6.8 Prize flights are non-changeable and non-transferable.
