Australia Holiday terms and conditions
These terms and conditions govern the prize draw promotion (“the Promotion”) whereby any qualifying person (“ a Participant”) who registers on the Promoter’s website, namely Proptyle.co.uk, will be automatically entered into a prize draw for a family holiday in a 4 star hotel in Sydney, Australia including $1,000 Australian dollars spending money (“the Prize”) further details of which will be provided when the prize draw takes place.

The Promotion will run from 1st January 2019 to 31st July 2020.

Only completed entries made via registering on the proptyle.co.uk website (“the Website”) will be valid and the closing date for entries will be 31st July 2020 (“the Closing Date”). Any entries via registration on the Website after that date will not be eligible for the prize draw.

Participants must be UK or Republic of Ireland residents aged at least 18 years or over and only one entry per Participant will be accepted. The Promotion is not open to employees of the Promoter or its participating companies or their relatives.

No purchase is necessary for participation in this Promotion.

By registering on the Website and being entered into the prize draw, Participants confirm their acceptance to these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to reject the entries of anyone who they consider in their absolute discretion is either in breach of these Terms and Conditions or has not submitted complete and accurate information when registering on the Website. All questions must be answered correctly for an entry to be deemed valid and the decision of the Promoter shall be final.

By registering on the Website, Participants acknowledge and agree that their personal data will be retained by the Promoter. If a Participant does not wish to receive information about products and services from the Promoter or for a copy or correction of his/her information please write to, Proptyle .co.uk P.O. All Participants who provide valid information via registering on the Website before the Closing Date will be automatically entered into a prize draw which will take place at 14th August 2020. The winner will be drawn randomly from all valid entries by an independent adjudicator and will be notified as soon as possible after that date. The Promoter reserves the right to change the date of the prize draw without notice although information will be made available on the Website.

The prize (“the Prize”) will consist of a family holiday for 4 persons in Sydney, Australia for 10 days to include return economy class flights, 4 star hotel accommodation and $1,000 Australian Dollars spending money during the holiday. Further details of the Prize will be available when the prize draw takes place on 14th August 2020 and will form part of these terms and conditions.

The holiday trip must be booked by the prize winner in conjunction with the Promoter who must be given at least 8 weeks notice in advance of the travel date and once confirmed cannot be changed.

The 10 day holiday trip must be taken between the months of February and October. The Promoter reserves the right to exclude other travel dates due to either the lack of availability or the high cost at peak times in his sole discretion.

The prize includes return economy class flights for 4 persons from a major UK or Republic of Ireland airport to Sydney Airport, return transfers to the 4 star hotel, 2 twin or double rooms at the hotel (based on at least 2 persons sharing each room), with breakfast included. The name and location of the hotel will be determined by the Promoter at the time of booking the holiday trip. The prize winner will need a current and valid credit/debit card with sufficient available funds in order to check in at the hotel for security deposit purposes. The prize winner will be responsible for arranging any special dietary or other requirements with the hotel at his/her own expense including the use of any of the hotel facilities.

The prize includes $1,000 Australian dollars total spending money for the trip which will be paid to the prize winner by cheque or bank transfer within 14 days of the confirmed booking of the holiday prize.

The prize winner and his/her companions must hold a current and valid passport and any other relevant travel documentation including foreign visas required for travel to and entry to Australia. Passports must be valid for travel with a minimum of six months on the date of departure when taking up the trip. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to (i) organise and pay the costs associated with obtaining any visas for the travelling party; (ii) arrange and meet any costs relating to obtaining travel insurance cover for the travelling party; and (iii) ensure that the travelling party adheres to the travel itinerary and other relevant safety instructions or regulatory requirements by the airline or Australian authorities including restrictions on bringing specific goods into or out of the country. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to inform the Promoter of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the prize winner or any of his/her companions when taking up the prize before any booking is arranged and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines.

Travel insurance for the prize winner and his/her companions is not included and it is the responsibility of the prize winner to arrange this separately.

It is the responsibility of the prize winner to ensure that they and/or their companions adhere to any visa entry requirements to Australia and adhere to the local laws and customs.

The prize excludes ground transport to and from the UK or Republic of Ireland airport, meals and drinks (other than where specified above), excursions, attractions, treatments, car hire, travel insurance, personal expenses (other than the $1,000 total spending money referred to above), visas and vaccinations. It will be the responsibility of the prize winner to arrange for and take appropriate medical advice for himself/herself and their companions before arranging the trip and arrange any necessary vaccinations, treatments or medication sufficient for the trip.

The Promoter will not be responsible for any cancellations or delays to ingoing or outgoing flights or transit to and from airports or any costs or expenses arising thereto. It will be the responsibility of the prize winner to ensure that he/she and their companions arrive at the departure airport in sufficient time for their departure flight and the Promoter will not be responsible for any missed flight whatever the cause. The prize winner and his/her companions will be responsible for making their own arrangements for booking alternative flights or transport and/or accommodation if required at their own expense.

No flight or accommodation upgrades are available and any arrangements for additional or substitution companions to join the prize winner for the trip must be booked separately at the prize winner or companion’s own expense.

The Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative holiday or other prize of similar value subject to availability due to circumstances beyond their control.

No cash alternative is available, and the prize is not transferrable to other persons. The decision of the Promoter on any matters relating to the Prize will be final.

The name of the winner will be published on the Website at a date to be announced (or during the week immediately following the prize draw in the case of a postponement) and can also be obtained on written request to the Promoter’s address above.

Proof of identification including age and address will be required to claim any prize.

The winner must agree to take part in publicity which will include disclosing the full name and City/town of location or residence. Failure to do so without good reason will invalidate the result and The Promoters will select an alternative prize winner from among the remaining entrants who will be bound by the same terms. The Promoters decision will be final. The publicity might extend to TV, radio, newspapers, magazines and any other form of promotions.

In the event that the winner cannot be located or fails to respond to all reasonable requests to attend or take part in publicity for whatever reason, the Promoters will have the right in their sole discretion to disqualify the winner and an alternative prize winner will be chosen at random from the remaining entrants. The new draw, if necessary, will take place within 28 days of the first draw or as announced through the Promoter’s website and the alternative winner will be bound by the same terms.

The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend or postpone the prize draw at any time and for any reason at their sole discretion. Details will be communicated on the Promoter’s website, including the alternative date for the draw in the event of a suspension or postponement.

The decision of the Promoter is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
