Competition Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry instructions are deemed to form part of these Terms and Conditions and by participating all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

1. The Promoter: This promotion is operated by Sofidel UK LTD, Briton Ferry Industrial Estate, Neath, SA11 2FP.
2. Eligibility:The promotion is open to residents in the UK (England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland), aged 18 or over , excluding employees of the Promoter and its holding companies and subsidiaries and their immediate families; its agents and suppliers and anyone else professionally connected with this promotion.
3. Promotional Period: Opens 00:00:01 BST on 14th June 2021 and closes 23:59:59 BST inclusive on 12th July 2021. Any entries received before or after this time will not be included in the promotion.
4. Internet access and registration required.
5. No purchase necessary and there is no charge to access or register on the website.
6. Entry is restricted to one entry per person, (matching email address counts as per person). Each entrant will be entered once into one of the two prize draws according to their selection. Entrants can win a maximum of one prize.
7. Entry Instructions: There will be two separate prize draws, “Seriously Soft” and “Seriously Strong”. To participate, customers must visit www.getaway.regina.uk.com, where there will be an entry form. Customers must fill in their personal details (full name and email address), make an entry choice between Seriously Soft and Seriously Strong, and confirm they are 18 years or over to enter. Entrants must complete the entry form and accept the Terms and Conditions to be entered into one of the two prize draws according to their selection.
8. Entrants who make an entry on someone else’s behalf will be disqualified, at the Promoter’s discretion.
9. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery.
10. Entries (bulk or otherwise) made from trade, syndicates. consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. If it becomes apparent that a participant is reposting the same content multiple times or using a computer(s) to circumvent this or any other condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’ or any other automated means, that person’s entries will be disqualified, and any prize award will be void.
11. Winner Selection: 1 main winner and 5 runners up will be selected from each prize draw (Team Soft and Team Strong) from all valid entries received during the Promotional Period on the 14th of July 2021. The draw will be carried out by a randomly verified electronic automated process. Winners will be allocated a prize in the order that they are drawn and the order in which the prizes are listed in clause 15. E.g., The first winner from the Seriously Soft prize draw will be awarded the main prize, the 2nd winner drawn will be awarded the first runner up prize and so on.
12. Winner Notification: The winners will be notified by email via the email address provided on entry within 3 working days of the draw date. The winner will have 7 days to accept their prize. In the case that they do not respond in time to first contact, reject the prize or are ineligible, the prize will be forfeited and will be awarded to the next eligible entrant selected at random from the valid entries that were received. The process will repeat until an eligible winner is able to claim the prize.
13. Once the winners have successfully accepted their prize , they will be contacted by the Promoter to arrange fulfilment of their prize within 7 days of acceptance. The prizes must be booked by the prize winner within 12 months from the date they accepted their prize.
14. It is the responsibility of the participant to check their email account to ensure they are in receipt of their winner notification. The Promoter is not responsible for an entrant making a late claim on their win if this email is missed or not read/or responded to for any reason.
15. The decision of the Promoter is final, and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into regarding the selection of winners.

Travel is subject to availability at the discretion of NDL Travel (the Promoter’s appointed prize agency) and excludes bank holidays, Valentine’s Day/weekend, and school holiday periods, specifically the Christmas holidays, summer holidays, spring and autumn half terms and Easter in both the UK and Greece.

Prize includes return economy flights, all flight taxes, and surcharges as well as one piece of checked baggage per person. Subject to availability, departure airport used will be the winners nearest international airport that operates direct flights to Santorini. Please note, this may not be your closest airport. The winner and their guest must each have a valid passport and have all necessary and relevant visas to travel to the chosen prize destination. Each person’s passport must have an expiry date no less than 6 months following the dates of travel, unless otherwise specified by a pertinent regulation. If you do not hold a UK passport you may need a visa for this destination, and this should be arranged with the appropriate embassy. Although please note the cost of a visa of this kind is not included in your prize.

Transfers will be private and not shared with other passengers.

You will be staying in a 5* hotel, sharing a double room with en-suite bathroom on a bed and breakfast basis. If you would prefer a twin room, we will do what we can to secure this for you, but it cannot be guaranteed. Your prize stay also includes funds to pay tourism tax that is payable locally to the hotel when you check-out.

Spa treatments are subject to change and availability at the time of booking. Some treatments may not be suitable for people with certain medical conditions and will be substituted for a safe alternative should this be the case.

It is the winner’s responsibility to comply with the entry requirements of Greece including any Covid testing, and documentation required.

Travel insurance is subject to restrictions and the Terms and Conditions of the insurance provider. It is the responsibility of the winner and/or their companion to meet any additional costs relating to obtaining insurance cover for any pre-existing medical condition and for any additional costs as may be specified where the winner and/or their companion are aged 70 or over.

The prize package must be taken as a whole, flights and hotels cannot be redeemed separately. The winner and their guest must travel together on the same flight to the prize destination and stay in the same hotel.

The winner and guest are responsible for all expenses not expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions as being included as part of the prize. All other costs and expenses incurred from the holiday including, but not limited to additional travel, transfers, excursions, vaccines, accommodation, meals, and drinks as required, spending money, tips and other gratuities are the winner’s and their guest’s own.

Your prize includes a petrol allowance so you can travel to the prize location. The allowance of £300.00 which will be paid to the winner via BACS in advance of the trip covers a round trip of a maximum 1000 miles. If you live further than this from the prize location or you are unable to drive, the petrol allowance will be provided to you as a contribution towards your travel expenses.

Prize includes return economy flights, all flight taxes, and surcharges as well as one piece of checked baggage per person. A Saturday night stay is a requirement of your ticket. Subject to availability, departure airport used will be the winners nearest international airport that operates flights to Calgary. Please note, this may not be your closest airport. The winner and their guest must each have a valid passport and have all necessary and relevant visas to travel to the chosen prize destination. Each person’s passport must have an expiry date no less than 6 months following the dates of travel, unless otherwise specified by a pertinent regulation. If you do not hold a UK passport you may need a visa for this destination, and this should be arranged with the appropriate embassy. Although please note the cost of a visa of this kind is not included in your prize.

Your prize includes car hire. Drivers need to be over the age of 25 and have held a full clean driver’s licence for a minimum of 2 years. Fully inclusive refers to unlimited mileage, collision damage waiver, theft protection, local taxes, and airport fees. The driver will need to provide the car hire company with a personal credit card that has £500 -£1,000 (variant depending on company) available for a security deposit that is refundable to your card upon the safe return of the vehicle.

You will be staying in a Historic Log cabin with a queen bed, woodburning fireplace and full bathroom with antique soaker tub and shower.

White Water Rafting tour is subject to availability at time of booking and operates daily throughout the summer season (June –September) Tour includes qualified guides, river gear (wetsuit, fleece, spray jacket, life jacket, helmet & booties). Rafters must be a minimum of 12 years of age and 90lbs for this tour. All participants are required to sign a waiver prior to rafting. Total tour duration is approximately 3 hours (including safety briefing). Should you wish to travel outside of the operational dates stated, this activity will be substituted for an alternative activity of equal value.

Canoe rental is based on an 8-hour hire. Rental is subject to availability on a first come, first serve basis. Pick up is the Banff canoe club. Rental includes Basic dry land canoe tips, Throw bag & bailing bucket, Life jackets, safety whistle and paddles.

The Heli-Hiking season is from June –September. Heli-hiking tour is subject to availability at time of booking. Tour includes 6–8-minute helicopter flight and 3.5 hours hiking. All trips include limited selection of hiking boots and poles and limited selection of windbreaker jackets. Should you wish to travel outside of the operational dates stated, this activity will be substituted for an alternative activity of equal value.

Via Ferrata climbing tour is subject to availability at time of booking. Minimum age 12 and minimum weight is 40kg (88lbs) for all participants, Tour operates May –October. Should you wish to travel outside of the operational dates stated, this activity will be substituted for an alternative activity of equal value.

Travel insurance is subject to normal terms of acceptance. Pre-existing medical conditions may not be covered, and it is the responsibility of the winner and/or their companion to meet any additional costs relating to obtaining insurance cover for any pre-existing medical condition. No age restrictions apply.

It is the winner’s responsibility to comply with the entry requirements of Canada including any Covid testing, and documentation required.

If you choose to travel by train, your prize includes off peak train travel that will need to be booked with us at least 6 weeks before you plan to travel. Off peak refers to travel booked outside of morning and evening commuter periods, this varies depending on the train operator but generally excludes departures between 0600-1000 and 1600-1900.

Your prize includes car hire. Drivers need to be over the age of 25 and have held a full clean driver’s licence for a minimum of 2 years. Pre prepared meals, groceries, and drinks can be ordered daily and will be delivered to your cabin. Food and drinks order is based on maximum of £100.00 per person, per day. Any dietary requirements must be advised by the winner when contacted by the Promoter after successfully accepting the prize.

Guided canoe trip is subject to availability at time of booking. Trip duration is 2.5 –3 hours and includes life jackets, dry bag, and paddles.

Pony trekking is subject to availability at time of booking and minimum age is 4 years old.

Clay Pigeon shooting is subject to availability at time of booking and excludes mid-Sept –20thOctober. Includes guide and use of shot gun, clays, ear defenders and up to 50 cartridges.

Dog Sledding Tour is subject to availability at time of booking. Tour operates October to April, temperature must be below 14°C, minimum age is12. Should winners wish to travel outside of this time and alternative activity of equal or greater value will be offered instead.

.Scenic aeroplane flight is subject to availability at time of booking. Scenic flight is weather dependant and may need to be rearranged during the winner’s stay as long as there is time within the stay to rearrange this, otherwise a substitute experience of equal or greater value will be offered and arranged. Flight will last for 120 minutes.

Winners may be asked to sign a disclaimer before taking part in certain activities.

17. No cash other alternative prize will be provided, except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a similar prize or part of a prize of equal or greater value. The prizes are non-transferable.
18. If delivery will be delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic and resulting Government restrictions, all winners affected will be contacted by the Promoter and kept updated of any unavoidable changes and revised delivery dates.
19. All images are for illustrative purposes only.
20. General: The Promoter will make available a list of winners’ surnames and county of residence to members of the public or regulators who request such details within 3 months after the closing date of this Promotion. Entrants can object to disclosure, or request that disclosure be limited in scope by contacting care@life-at-home.com. We may nevertheless disclose the information to the Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so. You may request a copy of the winners’ list by emailing care@life-at-home.com. We reserve the right to refuse any or all such requests.
21. It is the responsibility of the entrant to provide correct, up-to-date details when entering the promotion and acceptance of the prize. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for winners failing to supply accurate information which affects prize acceptance or delivery of their prize.
22. Your personal details will only be used for the purposes of administering this promotion and for no other purposes unless you have opted in to receiving future marketing mailings from the Promoter. You acknowledge that the Promoter may pass such information to its third-party agency, solely for the purposes of administering the promotion. All data will be used in accordance with current Data Protection legislation and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, which is available on the Website https://www.sofidel.com/en/privacy-policy/. You can request access to your personal data, or have any inaccuracies rectified, by sending an email to gdpr.holding@sofidel.com. By participating in the Promotion, you agree to the use of your personal data as described in these terms and conditions. All data obtained will be deleted by 1st September 2021.
23. Those who try and circumvent the entry process and/or entry instructions by any method, will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.
24. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law. This does not affect the consumer’s statutory rights.
25. Except as otherwise required by applicable law, the Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for lost, late, damaged, corrupted, or misdirected entries or claims and the Promoter is not responsible for any late, incomplete, or misdirected delivery of communications (email or otherwise), except in the event of wilful intent on the part of the Promoter or its agents.
26. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion or the awarding of prize, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these Terms and Conditions , at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimize the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
27. The Promoter has no control over internet or communication networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter will not be held liable to any individual for any fraud committed by any third party nor for any event beyond its control including, but not limited to, user error and any network, computer, hardware, or software failures of any kind which may restrict, delay, or prevent a participant’s entry to the promotion.
28. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries and the winners including, but not limited to, asking for proof of address and ID (passport or driving licence) and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, the spirit of the promotion, or any instructions forming part of this promotions entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means.
29. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid, or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
30. Any question concerning the legal interpretation of the rules will be based on English law and the Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction unless you live in another part of the UK, in which case your local courts will have jurisdiction.
