Competition Terms and Conditions

This competition runs from 8am 26 Nov 2020 and closes at midday on 4 Jan 2021. Entries received after this time will not be accepted. Due to the nature of the prize the winner must be over 18 years of age on the date of entry and will be required to produce proof of age on notification of their win. The winner will be chosen at random by Seasalt and will be contacted within 72 hours via the email address they have provided. The winner must confirm acceptance within 72 hours, should they not accept in time a new winner will be selected at random.

This competition is open to UK entrants only. The prizes are as stated on the competition webpage and are subject to availability. No cash alternatives

Prize includes:

A £500 voucher for Beach Retreats

The £500 voucher is to use towards any Beach Retreats holiday.

If the holiday cost is more than this amount, the winner must/will pay the difference. If the stay value is less than £500, no part credit will be given.

The prize must be redeemed between 8 January 2021 and 31 December 2021 – subject to availability. Accommodation reservation is subject to availability – no cash alternative.
Travel, food & drink, activities and travel insurance is not included within the prize.
In the event of the winner being prevented from travelling due a government COVID-19 travel ban, the winner can choose alternative dates within 2021. If the winner is unable to choose new dates due to a government COVID-19 travel ban, Beach Retreats will refund any monies paid over and above the prize value, but not the £500 prize value itself Prize winners are bound by Beach Retreats terms and conditions as found on their website.
Tarquin’s Gin School: A Distilling Masterclass

2 admissions on the Distilling Masterclass course in Padstow where you will become a botanical gin distiller for the day with the Tarquin’s team at their newly opened Gin School. Located just 10 minutes from their distillery, Tarquin’s have created a unique, hands-on experience where you get to make your very own one-of-a-kind bottle of gin to take home.

Classes are held at 12pm Midday on a Weds, Thurs, Friday.

Approximate school runtime 2 hours to 2.5 hours

A soft drink option will be made available on arrival for those not drinking.
Masterclass to be redeemed/booked before 31 December 2021 otherwise the prize will be forfeited. Attendees will be subject to the terms and restrictions as issued by Tarquin’s prior to and on the day of the masterclass.

A selection of 5 books (2 copies of each book) will all chosen by the Seasalt team from the Seasalt Bookclub recommendations. The 10 books will be sent to 1 issued address.

Seasalt Gift card

£150 gift card to spend at Seasalt, online or in store.

The gift card will be emailed to the email address you have provided and will be valid for two years from the date of issue.
Gift cards can be spent online or in any of our stores (excluding stores in the Republic of Ireland).
Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable. No cash or credit alternatives are available. If, due to circumstances beyond their control, Seasalt, Beach Retreats and Tarquin’s Gin are unable to provide the stated prize(s), they reserve the right to award a substitute prize of equal or greater value. Seasalt’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Seasalt reserves the right to cancel or suspend the competition where necessary. Your statutory rights are not affected.

By entering the competition, you confirm have the legal capacity to do so and agree to these terms and conditions. There is no entry fee and no purchase required. The competition is open to people ages 18 or over, except employees of Seasalt or anyone professionally associated with this promotion, or their immediate family members. Only one entry per person.

Winners agree to the use of their name for promotional purposes. Seasalt must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation Seasalt will disclose the surname and county of the prize winner to anyone who emails contactus@seasaltcornwall.co.uk within one month after the closing date of the competition.

If you object to the publication of any or all of your surname and county please contact Seasalt. In such circumstances, Seasalt must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

This competition is governed by English law and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
