Competition Terms and Conditions

The promoters for this prize draw are Young Marmalade Limited and Provisional Marmalade Ltd (“Marmalade”).
No purchase necessary.
To enter the draw, entrants must complete and submit this entry form and only one entry per person.
You must be a UK resident aged 17 years old or over at the time of entry and aged between 17 and 34 to enter.
The prize draw closes at 10am on 1st November 2022. Entries received after this time will not be put forward for the draw.
This prize draw is open to all UK residents, except employees of Provisional Marmalade Ltd and Young Marmalade Ltd and their affiliated companies, their families and agencies.
The judges’ decision is final.
The winner will be randomly selected by the promoter from entries received once the prize draw closes.
Entries will not be acknowledged or returned.
By entering, all entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and any associated entry requirements. Any breach of these terms and conditions by an entrant will void their entry. Misrepresentative or fraudulent entries will invalidate an entry.
The winner will be contacted by Marmalade before the 5th of November 2022. If the prize remains unclaimed after the 15th of November 2022, Marmalade will conduct a second chance draw on 16th November 2022.
The winner must ensure that they contact the promotors within 7 days of receiving the initial prize notification. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
The prize is a brand-new VW Polo Trend and 12 months Marmalade Black Box Insurance cover, providing the winner meets the eligibility criteria.
Black Box Insurance up to the value of £1300 – provided the winner meets the eligibility criteria. There will be no cash alternative to the insurance. Cover is available for 17 – 30-year-olds in the majority of UK postcodes including Northern Ireland.
The eligibility criteria for Black Box Insurance: Black Box Insurance provides cover for provisional and full licence holders aged 17 – 30. We’ll cover most UK postcodes and selected cars up to 25 years old with a £500 minimum value (excluding commercial vehicles). We’re unable to cover drivers with previous claims or convictions.
The promoters reserve the right to change the specified car but will endeavour to ensure the car promoted is the one given away.
The winner must not sell, or otherwise transfer ownership of, the car, within 12 months of becoming the legal owner.
The prize is non-negotiable, non-transferable, and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available for the car or insurance.
Incorrectly completed entries or the use of a false name or details will result in disqualification.
All entries must be made directly by the person entering the prize draw.
Entries made online using methods generated by a script, macro or the use of automated software will not be accepted.
No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, delayed, or corrupted, or due to computer, network or software failure which may restrict or delay or failure of entry.
Marmalade reserves the right to verify the validity of entrants, and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the process or does not act in accordance with the Conditions of Entry as outlined above.
The prize must be collected from Marmalade Offices on a weekday, between 9am and 4pm.
The prize does not include travel to collect the prize and the winner must make his or her own arrangements.
By entering, the winner agrees for Marmalade to use their names and general location for publicity purposes, and to have their photograph taken on collection of the prize.
The winners may be required to submit valid identification before receiving their prize.
Marmalade reserves the right to withdraw, modify or supersede the prize draw (including altering prizes) at any time without notice. This does not affect your statutory rights.
