TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “DISNEY PLUS – ONLINE PRIZE Promotion (the “Competition”).

These terms and conditions (the “Specific Terms”) for the Competition should be read alongside our general competition terms and conditions at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html (the “General Terms”) which will also apply to this Competition. Where there is any conflict between these Specific Terms and the General Terms, the Specific Terms shall prevail.

2.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN

To enter the competition, the entrant should answer the question on the competition page. One winner from all correct entries will be chosen by random electronic draw and awarded the prize when the competition ends.

3. ENTRY PERIOD

START TIME [Monday 4th May 2020 at 00.01] until END TIME [Sunday 31ST May at 23.59].

One entry per person.

Entries received before the Start Time or after the End Time will be invalid.

The winning person’s first name and hometown will be available upon request when the competition ends by emailing Win@bauermedia.co.uk.

4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS

Open to UK residents.
One entry per person.
Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter.
Anyone who has won a Bauer competition to the value of £500 or more within the past 6 months on any Bauer Radio Brand, will not be eligible to take part in this competition. If by any chance they get through to the phone lines – any prize they have been successful with will not be awarded.
We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with any of the eligibility criteria and/or is in breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to repeat the competition mechanic or any stage of it in order to draw a winner that fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms.

Please note due to the current Covid-19 situation, delivery times may be extended and may over-run the 28day delivery period.

You also agree that we may film, record or photograph you in connection with the competition and /or the Prize if applicable. We will own these films, recordings or photographs and we may use them publicly, including on the internet, for our radio broadcasts and/or for any promotional purposes. You will also have waived any moral rights or right to payment that you may have had.

MISCELLANEOUS.

Entries which do not comply with these Terms or the General Competition Terms and Conditions will not be accepted and any entries may be disqualified if we have any reason to suspect that there is a breach of, or non-compliance with, these Terms.

Where a competition mechanic involves the answering of questions, the correct answers to questions must match our answers to win (or be sufficiently close in our sole reasonable opinion) to be acceptable. In the event of any dispute about any answers given and whether they are correct, we reserve the right to amend what we deem a correct answer, however we are not obliged to, and our decision in either case is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call.

You are responsible for all costs of entry and where necessary, obtaining the bill payer’s permission. Please refer to your tariff with your network provider for information about charges you may incur for entry into our competitions via any SMS or phone call entry route.

We accept no liability for network, technical or signal errors, issues or failures experienced by entrants when entering the competition or at any stage during the mechanic of the competition.

Whilst on-air, you must not make any inappropriate, profane, indecent, harmful or offensive statements. If you do so we reserve the right to take you off-air immediately and disqualify you from the competition. You may be also disqualified from the competition at any time if you are incomprehensible, inaudible or if you appear to be driving, intoxicated or likely to offend listeners. Any prize already won may be withdrawn and re-awarded to another entrant.

As far as it is lawful to do so we exclude our liability for any losses suffered in connection with the Competition or any element of the Prize.

We may cancel, end or suspend the Competition where we are required to do so in circumstances outside our control. We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any stage during the Competition if such amendment is necessary to facilitate the administration of the Competition.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “DISNEY PLUS – MAY THE FOURTH Promotion (the “Competition”).

These terms and conditions (the “Specific Terms”) for the Competition should be read alongside our general competition terms and conditions at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html (the “General Terms”) which will also apply to this Competition. Where there is any conflict between these Specific Terms and the General Terms, the Specific Terms shall prevail.

1.Entry ROUTES and Costs

By Texting the keyword ‘DISNEY’ on 64100 when told to do so by the presenter. All those wishing to enter the competition must have access to headphones. If an entrant does not have access to headphones they will not be able to take part in the competition.

Texts are charged at standard network rate.

2.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN

There will be three competitions running throughout the day (04.05.20) on KISS, each with one prize package.

(1) During the Breakfast Show (0600 -1000)

(2) During the Mid-Morning Show (1000- 1300)

(3) During the Early Afternoon Show (1300 – 1500)

The presenters will advise when the text lines will open during their show for each competition and will give a time by which entrants must text to take part. When the text lines open, anyone wishing to take part in the competition should text the word ‘DISNEY’ to 64100. One caller from all entries will be chosen and called back to be given the opportunity to go through to the next phase of the competition and be brought to air. The caller must answer with the phrase “May the Fourth be With You”, which will unlock part A of the prize package. [See 5.0 PRIZE for full prize details]

If the caller who is called back does not have access to headphones they will not win a prize or be able to go forward with the competition.

If the entrant answers by saying anything other than ‘may the fourth be with you’ they will not win a prize and will not go forward to the next stage of the competition.

After saying the phrase, the caller will enter phase two of the competition to win the remaining parts of the prize package. The caller will be given 20 seconds to “sell the Star Wars Saga to us”. They should tell us everything they know about the saga in their own words. By completing this, they will be awarded Part B of the prize package. [See 5.0 PRIZE for full prize details]

The entrant will be judged on their ability to describe Star Wars to the presenters and if they do not talk or say anything to do with the subject of Star Wars they will not be awarded the prize. The producer and presenters’ decision is at their discretion and is final.

3. ENTRY PERIOD

Entry will be open at different stages throughout the day on KISS FM UK between the hours of 0600 and 1500 on Monday 4th May 2020. Specific opening and closing times to be stated by the presenter on the day but these competitions will sit within the following shows:

(1) The Breakfast Show (0600 -1000)

(2) The Mid-Morning Show (1000- 1300)

(3) The Early Afternoon Show (1300 – 1500)

These terms should be read with our general competition terms which also apply to this Competition.

1. COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN

The prize winners will be selected from those persons who successfully:

Log in to their account on Twitter

Tweet a photo of themselves dressed up as a Star Wars character to @KISSFMUK using the hashtag #ShowUsYourStarWars during the hours of 0600 – 1500 on Monday May 4th 2020.

Up to Four winners will be chosen by a judging panel after the competition closes. The winners will be those deemed to have the highest entertainment value by the judging panel.

Entrant’s must have a public Twitter account to enter and be 16 years or older.

If more than one person features in the photograph submitted, only the account holder will win the prize.

2. ENTRY PLATFORMS AND COSTS

3. DATES
