Competition Terms and Conditions

By entering into this promotion (the “Promotion”), participants agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

The Promotion is only open to UK residents aged 18 and over (the “Participants”). Proof of eligibility may be requested at a later date.
The Promotion will run from the 29th April 2020 – 2nd June 2020 (“Promotion Period“).
Only entries submitted by Participants within the Promotion Period will be considered when determining the eligibility of Participants to receive a prize under the Promotion (“Prize”).
This Promotion is not open to any employee or agent of the Promoter or anyone professionally connected to this Promotion.
Participants agree, that by entering this Promotion, the Promoter is entitled (but not obliged) to use your email address for contact and marketing related purposes as per your agreement at the time of leaving your email address with Crown Paints.
The user is able to unsubscribe at any point from the Crown Paints newsletter, but doing so before the competition has finished on June 2nd 2020,will result in your entry to the competition being removed too.
This Promotion is in no way sponsored or otherwise endorsed by Good Homes Magazine.
The Promoter will make reasonable attempts to contact the winning Participant (“Winner”). If not possible within 7 days, then the Promoter, the prize will be offered to another competition entrant.
The total prize is £5,000 worth of free Crown paint, of which, 20 winners will receive £200 worth of free Crown paint each and an additional 10 winners will receive £100 worth of free Crown paint each.
Winners will be emailed individually after the 2nd June 2020. Each email will contain details of their win, including the amount in pound sterling (£) of free Crown paint.
No cash alternative will be given.
All winners will be selected at random.
Further terms and conditions relating to the use of (and restrictions on) the Prize may be imposed at the time of use.
The Prize is subject to availability and the Promoter reserves the right to substitute prizes of a similar or greater value including in the event the original Prize offered is not available due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.
Participants who make fraudulent claims; enter into liquidation or seek to contravene the spirit of this Promotion through malpractices, will be excluded and any Prize or other credit forfeited.
Any tax or national insurance liability from this Promotion is the responsibility of the Participant.
Data Protection: the Promoter is committed to protecting your privacy. Any information that is collected from Participants in connection with this Promotion will be used for this Promotion and for the purposes of future promotions, offers and publicity events. The Promoter will not pass on the information collected to any third parties.Please contact the Promoter if you do not wish to receive further marketing materials from the Promoter.
The Promoter reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions and amend or terminate this Promotion in whole or in part without prior notice or compensation.
In the event of any dispute, the decision of the Promoter shall be final and no correspondence shall be entered into.
This Promotion is governed by the laws of England and Wales and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
