Competition Terms and Conditions

THE PROMOTER

DFS Trading Limited (01735950) of 1 Rockingham Way, Redhouse Interchange, Adwick-le-Street, Doncaster, South Yorkshire DN6 7NA is the promoter of the Competition (the “Promoter”).

PRIZE

The prize is a £1,000 voucher to spend on your order at DFS.

There are no other prizes or cash alternatives.

ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible to participate in the competition you must:

Be a UK resident;

Be over the age of 18 years old;

Not be employed by the Promoter or are related or connected with anyone who is employed by the Promoter or any of the DFS group of companies.

Proof of age, identity and eligibility may be requested.

HOW TO ENTER

To enter the competition submit your details on the web page.

The competition opens at 01:00 on Thursday 22nd July 2021 across the DFS website and ends at 23:59 on Thursday 5th August 2021 (inclusive).

No purchase is necessary to enter this competition.

The promoter will not reimburse any expenses incurred in making an entry to this competition.

The promoter will not accept responsibility for prize draw entries that are lost, including as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, network, server or software failure of any kind. The promoter will not accept proof of transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the competition.

One entry per household.

THE WINNER

The winner will be the first entry selected from all eligible entries by an electronic random draw on Friday 6th August 2021.

The winner will be contacted by the Promoter via telephone and /or email. If no response is received within 5 days, Friday 13th August 2021, then the promoter reserves the right to select another winner by way of second electronic random draw. This process will be repeated until a winner is found.

The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.

The decision of the Promoter as to who the winner is, is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

CLAIMING THE PRIZE

If you are the winner, the Promoter will deliver the prize to you.

Please note that the Promoter will deliver to UK addresses only.

Personal details provided to the Promoter in relation to this competition will be processed and used in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. Please read this carefully before proceeding. These can be found on our website at www.dfs.co.uk/privacy-policy. By entering the competition you consent to such processing.

GENERAL

The Promoter reserves the right to suspend, cancel or amend this competition where it becomes necessary to do so.

The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are unable to take up the prize.

The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss damage, injury or disappointment whatsoever which may be suffered by you as a result of or in connection with or arising out of or as a result of you entering this competition except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Your statutory rights are not affected.

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry if it is contrary to the spirit or intention of the competition. In particular entries submitted in bulk (that is more entries than a human being could submit in the time available without the use of software or other devices designed to make automatic entries) will not be accepted.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
